Is it fate? Is it luck?
Chance is by all means, a possibility. It may or may not be. It’s unsure yet it’s there.
It’s brave to ask “what if” But I think it’s braver to embrace “what is” – Popoy; A Second Chance
Chance is on the “what ifs”. What if you fail? What if you succeed? It’s unsure. What if things don’t go as planned? What if there are better plans?
It’s a mere question. “What if?”
Are we blinded by that sense of a future? The “what ifs” covering up the “what is”? Are we still living in the now? Is there fear?
We prepare out today for tomorrow. We study, to get a good job. We work to have a good source of income. We earn so we can help the family. But all these preparations make us live in tomorrow. We get scared that we wouldn’t have a good life ahead.
There’s nothing wrong in preparing for tomorrow. In fact, I would suggest you plan things out for the future. It’s not bad. But it becomes bad that you’re living “now” in the “soon”. That you miss out life itself because you think too much of what will be.
You gotta know where you are right now. What status you are in. What’s your state? Then and there would you progress to the future that you think of.
Don’t be afriad to take that first step. Take a chance. “What ifs” may be scaring you, and I assure you, you would definitely have mistakes. But you are moving forward. And you’re steps closer to your future.
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? – Matthew 6:25-27
Don’t waste your time worrying.
Move. Take a step. And move on. Move forward. Don’t miss a chance when you can take that step and move towards your hopes, your dreams, and what God has planned for you.
If you stumble and fall, it’s okay. You stand up and walk again. Only this time you learned. Hopefully. He’s got your back. You can do it!
