Virtues

We speak about humility, but there is no selflessness.

We speak about openness, but there is no understanding.

We speak about integrity, but there is no change.

We ask why.

Today’s reading, April 1, is about the following verses.

1st Reading; Acts 4:1-12 & Gospel; John 21:1-14

The first story is about how the disciples were questioned on whose authority do they perform miracles after they healed the crippled man. The second story is about how Jesus again came to the discples after His death during their time of need.

By what power or by what name have you done this?

Authority. Power. Strongholds.

With this reflection note, I therefore question our inner selves. Why do we keep on moving? Why do we continue to live? Why do we do such actions?
Why?

We question the life we are currently living in. We ask ourselves whether the people we are with are showing their true colors. We ask ourselves if this man knows whether his actions are good or bad.

Do you know? Honestly I don’t know too.

But I do know mine’s. If I triumph or fail, I do know It’s my responsibility and It’s a stepping stone for me.

Being close to Jesus, I’ve learned one important lesson. That we are all uniquely different, but all the same in Christ. That despite our differences, we are all His children. Amazing, magnificent, and wonderful as He is.

After that brokenness, and being broken til’ now along with the hearts of the youth, I try to listen. I try to understand.

With trust, and with full knowledge, that me and you is in Christ.

Before we strike judgement…(#judgemental, #judger)

Under whose name do we represent?

His.
